The Port Authority operates activities fortified by the Law like:

1. care about building, maintenance, manageing, protection and promotion of maritime goods which are rapresenting the port area,
2. building and maintenance of port shoring up, financed from the budget of the foundator of the port authority,
3. expert's supervision over building, maintenance, manageing, protection and protection of the port area (port shoring up and superstructure),
4. insurance for continually and undisturbed operating of the port traffic,technically-technologic uniqueness and safety of navigation,
5. insurance in offering services of common advantage which doesn't exist economic advantage from other economy subjects for,
6. coordination and supervision in work of the rapresentative of the concession which are performing economic activities in the port area,
7. taking decisions about foundation and managing with the free belt in the port area congruently to the regulations which are arrangeing free belts and other businesses fortified by law
